Sophi started practicing yoga in October of 2015. She fell in love at her first class at Release Yoga, and has been doing it non-stop ever since. She has been working at Release Yoga since March 2016, as a Lovely Desk Yogi. She recently graduated teacher training from Release Yoga in August of 2017. She also recently graduated high school from Green High School. She is currently attending Kent State University, where she is majoring in Marketing with a minor in entrepreneurship .

  • My favorite yoga pose is: child's pose, because you are it's so comfortable, and you are shut off from other distractions. 

 

  • Yoga has helped me overcome: My weight struggle. When I first started yoga, I only tried it for the workout aspect, but I soon realized that it was only the beginning of what yoga was doing for me.

 

  • I love my hair because: it is long, and natural, also I can do just about anything with it.

 

  • My favorite god/goddess is Jesus because: my faith in Jesus is one of the things that keeps me grounded.

 

  • You must try this healthy snack: Apples and almond butter, or anything with almond butter really.

 

  • My favorite Sanskrit word or phrase is namaste because: it appreciates the love and life in everyone.

 

  • My advice for beginning yogis is: to try it! You never know whether you will like it or not. Also don’t give up after your first time, it takes work and dedication.

 

  • I’m most grateful for my musical talent, it is an outlet for me, similar to yoga.

  • If I could practice yoga with anyone it would be: Adele, because I am obsessed with their music, and she's a freaking QUEEN.
 
  • I’m eager to take my yoga to the next level because: yoga has had such a huge impact on my life already, and I cannot wait to see what else it’s gonna do for me.

 

  • My heroes are: Anyone who has served in the military, pushed for social change, and my Mom and Dad.

 

  • My super power is: my determination to prove myself with hard work!

 

  • My one wish for the world is: For everyone to stop caring what others think, and for everyone to stop judging others. That everyone is happy.

 

Crystal Tyler


Crystal has been a student for over 8 years and practices Vinyasa Flow with a little bit of Ashtanga. She loves being upside down!  Being uncomfortable helps her to find her comfort.

  • My teaching style:  Don't mistake my quite nature ... I deliver an intense Hot Power class!

  • My favorite yoga pose is:  Handstand.

  • Yoga has helped me overcome:  Attachment to things that no longer serve a purpose in my life.

  • My favorite diety/god is:  Jesus. Because I believe that all things are possible through him. 

  • You must try this healthy snack:  Jerk Salmon

  • My favorite Sankrit phrase is:  Chataranga Dandasana because their is immense power power in those words.

  • My advice for beginning yogis: Relax, be open and doubt your doubt. 

  • I’m most grateful for: Being able to share myself and the gifts I have to offer with the world. 

  • The most exotic place I’ve practice yoga is:  Punta Cana

  • If I could practice with anyone it  would be: Baron Baptiste because I love his spiritual focus.

  • I’m excited to take to take my yoga practice to the next level because: It’s time for me to teach what I’ve been taught.

  • My heroes are: My kids. 

  • My super power is: being a single parent super mom and making things happen even when I don’t feel like it!
 
  • My wish for the world is: Learn to love more.  

Autumn Andrella (E-RYT 500)

 
Autumn is a busy wife and mother. She started her yoga journey in 2017. She sought yoga out to find relief from running pain and general aches. Quickly discovering all the other benefits to yoga, she was inspired to commit to a daily practice and took things up a notch. She has found life changing transformations within, not to mention the physical and mental challenges are very exciting for her! She can't wait to share this with her students!


  • My teaching style is: A balance between exciting and energetic but calm and connected.
 
  • My favorite yoga pose is: Chaturanga Dandasana - I feel strong, connected and engaged
 
  • Yoga has helped me overcome: Neglecting my self worth. As many of us, I tend to make everyone else a priority and overtime their needs and time becomes more important. Yoga has connected me with myself and gives me permission to be selfish because I am worth it.
 
  • I love my: Arms because they are strong and get to hug my family.
 
  • My favorite Deity is: Ganesha - he is the deity of wisdom and good fortune and the remover of obstacles.
 
  • You must try this healthy snack: Edamame with sea salt (cold or hot)
 
  • My favorite Sanskrit word: Ahamkara, meaning EGO. I like it because checking my ego allows me to accept myself as I am at that moment.
 
  • My advice for beginning yogis: Yogis, have an open mind, trust and honor yourself and watch the transformation unfold.
 
  • I'm most grateful for: My mother! She raised me to believe in myself and she always tells me how proud she is of the woman I am.
 
  • The most exotic place I've practiced yoga is: The beach!
 
  • If I could practice yoga with anyone it would be: My sister, Trisha. I have the honor and privilege to practice with her often and I love how close our relationship has become with this commonality.
 
  • I'm excited to take my yoga to the next level because: My body and mind has completely amazed me in the past few years and I wish that everyone can feel this way about themselves.
 
  • My hero is: My husband, Austin Andrella. He is very inspiring, loyal, honest and motivated. He is a man of his word and strives to be a good man in every area of his life.
 
  • My one wish for the world is: That every child feels loved and protected.

Dawn Taylor

 
Dawn is a passionate wellness enthusiast with a zest for embracing new opportunities and adventures! She is happily married and shares her home with two cats who rule the roost. Dawn’s yoga journey began in 2006 with her first class in Los Angeles, but it wasn’t until 2019 that she began practicing regularly. Having grown up as a gymnast and dancer, flipping and twisting were second nature to her. This foundation led her to discover aerial yoga, and she was immediately captivated after her first class. A lover of travel, Dawn enjoys exploring our national parks, hiking scenic trails, golfing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
 
My teaching style is:
Welcoming and fun! I hope to bring students to their own “edge” in a safe, uplifting, and comfortable environment.
 
My favorite yoga pose is:
Working towards Grasshopper. I love trying new and challenging arm balances!
 
Yoga has helped me overcome:
Self confidence issues while striving for unattainable perfection. Yoga has shown me that my hiccups along the way will build strength, humility, and respect.

I love my strong arms because:
They help me reach new heights!

My favorite deity or god/goddess is: 
Currently, I am resonating with the Goddess Durga to fight anger, guilt, blame, shame, greed, etc. Hopefully she will help me channel my inner warrior to combat these traits.
 
You must try this healthy snack: Blend of Greek yogurt, flax milk, hemp seeds, wheat germ, chia seeds, and protein powder topped with fresh fruit.

My favorite Sanskrit word or 
phrase is:
Arunoday, as it is the translation of my name.

My advice for beginning yogis is: This is YOUR journey! Carve out your own path at your own pace and try not to compare your progress against others. Slow and steady wins the race.

Banff, Alberta. My first aerial class!

If I could practice yoga with

My Grandma – she would have loved it and would have laughed the entire time.
